Vacancy: Junior Lecturer (Veterinary Physiotherapy Department)

Role Scope:
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for designated teaching modules under the guidance and supervision of a senior lecturer..

Key Responsibilities:
       Teaching Support & Module Delivery   

o   Manage the preparation, delivery, and assessment of teaching materials, ensuring alignment with academic standards and institutional policies.

o   Contribute to lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and workshops as required.

·       Practical Module Coordination

o   Organize and manage patient scheduling for practical teaching and clinical training sessions.

o   Oversee and support students in their interaction with patients, ensuring professional standards and ethical guidelines are maintained.

o   Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback during patient-based learning activities.

·       Assessment & Moderation

o   Assist in the design, administration, and marking of assessments in accordance with institutional requirements.

o   Participate in the moderation of assessments to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with learning outcomes.

o   Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.

·       Academic & Administrative Support

o   Support the senior lecturer in curriculum development and module evaluation.

o   Maintain accurate records related to student attendance, progress, and practical activities.

o   Participate in departmental meetings, training, and quality assurance activities as required.

·       Professional Development

o   Engage in ongoing professional and academic development to enhance subject knowledge and teaching practice.

o   Stay informed on developments in the discipline to contribute to curriculum and practical teaching improvements.

Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the Head of Physiotherapy Department.
